Do you Grind or clinch your teeth?
Bruxism is a habit of grinding or clinching the teeth. Clinching happens when you tightly hold your top and bottom teeth together. Grinding is when you slide your teeth back and forth over each other. Bruxism can happen in children and adults of any age.
Please call our office for an evaluation if you have of the following symptoms:
- Headache or earache
- Sore jaw
- Jaw clinking/popping
- Frequent toothaches
- Facial pain
- Worn or cracked teeth or fillings
- Insomnia (trouble sleeping)
